Training with a difference focuses on young athlete development especially middle-distance runners. It aims to develop them to have a long running career. The program will teach them from the start to strengthen their bodies to prevent injuries and to develop a love for the sport. Programs will be different and not only focused on the running but core development with games in a group format. The aim will be to teach each athlete to compete with their own time and improve their running.
Pre-Season conditioning program can be beneficial to develop fitness for all sports as an extra activity.
PROGRAM 1: SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON WEATHER AND FACILITIES
OPEN GROUP 17:45 @ COURTRAI SPORT FIELD TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS
A program for all ages and levels it will be an add-on for trail runners and recreational joggers wanting to improve their running.
It aims to create a social environment where you can learn to push a bit harder and increase fitness level.
The sessions will be a variation between interval training, hills and distance running.
Some sessions will also focus on core strengthening and provide you with the knowledge to prevent injuries.
Programs will be designed to work on your own strength and times.
